Hey everyone, I've been doing some digging into Lester Loran Petry’s disappearance, and a thought just popped into my head. I wonder if anyone has looked into his social circle at the university back in 1971. Being a freshman, he probably had a lot of new acquaintances. Did he have any roommates, study groups, or clubs he was involved in? Even casual connections could have been important. Also, with the college scene being what it was back then, I wonder if any counterculture movements or protests around that time might have intersected with his life in any way. It's such a long shot, but has anyone checked if there was any overlap with other missing person cases at that time in Minneapolis? Just trying to look at this from every possible angle. Let's keep brainstorming.
