It’s so incredibly tragic what happened to Montez McMillian. I was reading about his involvement at the New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and it just breaks my heart to think of how much he gave to his community. Serving as a junior usher shows how committed he was from such a young age. The church must be feeling such a loss right now, along with his family. For those who know this community, is there any word from the church or any statements made by the pastor about Montez? It just seems wrong that someone so involved and caring is gone too soon. My heart goes out to everyone affected. I hope the GBI can find some answers soon.
Has anyone else noticed that Oak Grove Cemetery seems like an unusual and eerie place for this tragedy to come to a halt? I can't help but wonder if it held any significance or meaning in Montez McMillian’s life, or if it was purely coincidental. It's incredibly sad to think of his family and young daughter having to say goodbye to him in such tragic circumstances. I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through right now.
Also, are there any local folks who know if this area has been problematic before, or if this is something entirely out of the blue? The fact that the SUV ended up in a cemetery adds so many layers of mystery to what already feels like a very bizarre and random event. Sending love and strength to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Hoping the GBI can piece together what happened soon.

And thinking about his family—his young daughter, in particular—having to process the news of where he was found just adds another layer of tragedy to this whole situation. I just hope the GBI can piece together what happened, not only to get justice for Montez but to give his family some answers and maybe a bit of peace in such a tough time.
