Wow, the news about Terence Pinder is truly unsettling. My thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. It’s hard not to feel conflicted when you look at Terence's past. Yes, he had charges and a history that might have set off alarm bells, but at the same time, he was just 18—barely an adult. Kids from tough backgrounds often find themselves in these cycles with little chance to break free. I’m wondering if there were any community programs or resources that could have helped him earlier on. It’s tragic to think about what might have been if there’d been more intervention or support. And now another young life is lost, another family is grieving, all while gun violence continues to rise. Does anyone know if there’s been any local response or initiatives to tackle this issue in Augusta since this happened?
