Has anyone else been following the emotional fallout for TJ's family since the incident? I've been thinking a lot about his mom, Lashika. I can only imagine how challenging it must be to walk past the place where her son was killed every day. The community’s gesture of releasing balloons was a touching tribute to honor TJ’s memory, but I can't help but wonder if there's more we can do to support his family during this time. It’s so important that they know they’re not alone. I also hope the legal process brings TJ’s mother some comfort and that justice is served swiftly. Sending thoughts to everyone impacted by this tragedy.
I wanted to discuss an often overlooked aspect of the tragic case involving TJ Henderson. In reading about the events that unfolded at the Herrington Mill Apartments, I couldn’t help but think about Anna Dividu. Can you imagine the shock she must have felt when she discovered TJ’s body while simply taking her dog out for a walk? It’s such a haunting image.
While our focus rightly remains on seeking justice for TJ and supporting his heartbroken family, let’s also remember how traumatic this must be for Anna and the other residents who now have this horrifying association with their home. I can only hope that they, too, find some peace and healing in this aftermath. It's a solemn reminder of how violence ripples through a community, affecting so many more lives than those directly involved.

I can’t stop thinking about the bravery it must have taken for Raheem Whiteside to finally turn himself in on May 9th. While I'm relieved he's now in custody, I can’t help but think about what Timothy’s family is going through. Facing the person responsible for such a tragic loss must be incredibly difficult for them. It’s another reminder of how far-reaching the effects of such senseless violence are. I hope, for their sake, that the legal process brings them some measure of peace and answers that will help them move forward. The community really seems to be rallying around Lashika Almond, sending love and support her way. It's so important that they know they're not alone in this.
