I just can't wrap my mind around the tragedy surrounding Jordyn and how things ended up this way. As someone who grew up near Senoia, it hits different when something so devastating happens in your own backyard. From what I've gathered, Jordyn was the kind of person who made life brighter for everyone around her, especially her little boy Layne. I can't even begin to imagine the pain her family is feeling right now, especially knowing they'll have to tell Layne about this one day. The part that haunts me is that they were found on a quiet street, one that could have been a regular route for a walk or just a peaceful drive. It's just so chilling to think about how everything unfolded. My heart goes out to Jordyn's mom, who now takes on this immense responsibility with Layne. Supporting the GoFundMe is the least we can do as a community. It’s moments like these where we need to come together and show up for those left behind. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
