I was looking at the tide charts around the time Carter and Lane Smyth went missing, and it seems like there were pretty strong currents in that area of Narrow Cape. Does anyone here with experience on Kodiak Island know if there are specific spots where those currents might push a swamped boat or debris? It's such a rough area, and I'm just trying to understand if there's a possibility they could have been carried further than the search area. Wondering if there's any local knowledge that could help with this.

Has anyone else been following the case of Carter and Lane Smyth? I've been trying to understand the ocean conditions around Narrow Cape when they went missing.
