Hi everyone, I just came across more details about Antwone Shalmar Lay’s tragic passing. It’s awful to think of what his family is going through, especially his sister, Deborah Mattox. I really feel for her and the rest of Antwone’s loved ones who must be dealing with so much grief and shock right now. I've been pondering the location of where Antwone's body was found. It seems strange and haunting that it happened in a church parking lot. Antioch United Methodist Church must be a place where the local community gathers for peace and reflection, and now it’s connected to something so violent and devastating. I can't imagine how this has affected not just his family but also the church members and local residents who frequent the area. It’s unnerving to think that this sacred place became the scene of something so horrifying. I hope the investigation uncovers all the truth, and justice is served. None of this will bring Antwone back, but having clarity might provide some solace to those who can't even visit his grave yet. My heart really goes out to them.
