Hey everyone,
I came across a really puzzling aspect of Ronald Ernst's case that I haven’t seen discussed much. It’s got me thinking about the potential link between Ronald and Alberta Jane Renschler Ernst, who also died in Anchorage just a few weeks after Ronald. They both share the same last name, but that might just be a coincidence, or maybe there's something more there.
Does anyone know if there's been any official confirmation regarding their relationship? The timing of their deaths is awfully close and it makes me wonder if they might have been related and if Alberta’s role as a manager at the Golden Medallion Apartments could have any connection. Given the era and circumstances, could there be something more under the surface that ties these two deaths together?
It must be incredibly tough for any family trying to find answers for not one, but potentially two losses in such a short timeframe. I’m just hoping that highlighting these details might jog someone’s memory or bring forward new insight.
Would love to hear if anyone has thoughts or more info about this!
Stay safe,

I came across this case while reading about unsolved homicides in Alaska, and I can't stop thinking about Ronald R. Ernst. It's so tragic to see a veteran's life cut short, and his service to our country acknowledged on his headstone reminds us of the sacrifices he made. With the lack of details in the case, it's clear the investigators could use any leads they can get.
I've been trying to piece together anything I might have come across about the Golden Medallion Apartments or its manager, Alberta Jane Renschler Ernst. The timing and surname make me wonder if there's more to this connection. Does anyone know if there's been any media coverage or family statements over the years? It feels like these are the kind of cases where community support and awareness could really make a difference. Hoping one day we find answers for Ronald and his family.
