I was digging through some old newspaper archives and found an article mentioning James Bean from back in 1978. It was just a brief piece right after his disappearance, talking about the initial police search efforts around West Palm Beach. Interestingly, they mentioned a couple of planned searches in some wooded areas outside town and even speculated about a connection to another missing person case from the same year. Has anyone else come across any info on those searches? I wonder if anything significant was ever found or if it was just a dead end. It's so frustrating not having more details; you would think there would be more documentation from that time. If anyone has access to other archives or resources, it might be worth looking into if those searches were ever mentioned again.
