Did anyone else notice Mareah Marsh mentioned that Mikah's children were actually there during the shooting? I can't even imagine the trauma they must be going through right now. It's one thing to lose a parent, but to witness it firsthand—it's just beyond words. Sending so much love and strength to those kids. I hope they have a strong support system around them as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. It breaks my heart that they have to carry this with them, and I really hope justice is served. Has there been any more info about the self-defense claim that’s been floating around? It's been eerily quiet since the initial reports, and I'm just hoping the truth comes out soon.

Just read about Mikah Shane Smith's tragic passing, and my heart goes out to all who loved him. It's unfathomable to think about his children witnessing such a devastating event. I can't imagine the trauma that must have been imprinted on them. I noticed that there's been a lot of talk about a possible self-defense claim, but that aspect seems murky right now. Does anyone know if there’s been more clarification on that angle? Also, I think it’s significant that the community is rallying for justice. It shows just how much he meant to them. I hope the investigation brings some clarity and peace to his family. If anyone's local to the area, please share details about any vigils or gatherings in his honor. I'm sure many of us would like to keep his memory alive and support his family however we can.
