Has anyone looked into the female companion Little Bear was last seen with on the bus? I feel like she might be a key piece in this puzzle. It's strange that there's so little info about her. Was she ever identified or interviewed by investigators? If Little Bear traveled to Chicago after Minneapolis, maybe she knows more about his intentions or why he decided to head there. Maybe reaching out to anyone who was on that same bus trip could uncover some forgotten details. Just throwing ideas out there in hopes that someone might have some insight!

Did anyone else find it odd that Little Bear vanished after potentially reaching Chicago? I’ve been digging into the train and bus routes back then, and I wonder if he might have continued traveling beyond Chicago. Could it have been a planned move, or was he running from something? It’s intriguing how he reached out to a relative years later, expressing love but also, it seems, keeping a distance. Maybe something in that phone call holds a clue? It’s so hard to piece this together with so few details, but the travel pattern makes me question if his destination was ever meant to be Minnesota or Chicago at all. Anyone here familiar with the geography of bus and train connections in the early '80s?
