I’ve always found the case of Clarence Robert Parchman so puzzling, especially the part about his car being found abandoned on the interstate. Does anyone else wonder whether this was on purpose or if something forced him to leave it there? It’s strange that there wasn’t more evidence in or around the car. You would think after all these years someone might recall seeing something unusual back in 1981. It's been so long, and yet there's no indication of what he might have been going through at that time or why his trail goes cold right there. Anyone local to Terre Haute remember anything that might help connect the dots?

Does anyone else find it strange that Clarence Parchman's car was found abandoned in Terre Haute? I mean, it's not exactly close to Indianapolis, and from what I've read, there wasn't any indication he was planning to head that way. Did he maybe know someone there? Or could it have been a random choice for some reason? It's puzzling why this hasn't led to more investigative clues. Also, does anyone know if there were any belongings left in the car? Were there any signs that might point to his intentions or state of mind before he disappeared? It just seems like an odd piece of the puzzle that I can't quite make sense of. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories!
