Has anyone else been looking into the recent increase in crime in that particular area of 22nd Street SE? It just breaks my heart to see what families like Amar Sidney Harris's have to go through. I can't help but wonder if the community could rally together to organize neighborhood watches or community patrols. I know the MPD is doing their best, but sometimes it takes a whole community to make a change. It's concerning that there haven't been any arrests yet, but I have faith that the detectives, O’Bannon and Clay, are working tirelessly on this case. For those of you local to D.C., maybe it would be helpful to attend community meetings and discuss any small details that might have been overlooked. Every little bit helps. And let's keep sharing that tip line number (202) 727-9099 and reminding folks about the reward. Amar and his loved ones deserve justice as soon as possible.
