I’ve been diving deep into George Downes’ case, and something that puzzles me is the route he might have taken when he left Perkins Adult Home. Osborne Avenue leads to quite a few places where someone could easily blend in or disappear without much notice. Has anyone looked into whether there were particular hotspots or common gathering areas around that time where he might have headed? It’s been so long, and while it seems he just vanished without a trace, I wonder if there was any significant activity along Osborne Avenue back in 1983. Sometimes, the smallest detail can be the key, and maybe someone who frequented that area back then could have seen something out of the ordinary? Any locals around here who remember what it was like?
