I've been keeping up with this case and it's so troubling to think that Maurice Downing's family still doesn't have answers or justice. It’s distressing to know that even with surveillance footage and a reward on the table, the shooter hasn't been caught yet. I really hope that someone out there will step up and provide the necessary info to help close this case. If anyone from the community has any ideas on how we might get more eyes on this case or tips to circulate the footage, please share them. We need to keep this in the public eye so Maurice’s family can find some peace.
I’ve been following the case of Maurice Downing, and I can't seem to stop thinking about the impact this has had on his community. It’s a tragedy that such a vibrant life was taken so suddenly and violently. I watched the surveillance footage the MPD released, and it’s haunting to think that someone knows who this person is but remains silent. It’s scary how often these cases linger unsolved even when there's evidence available. Maurice’s family deserves answers and justice. If you live in the area, please review the footage and photos again. Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can notice something others might miss. Anyone holding onto information, no matter how small it seems, should really consider speaking up. We need to help bring some resolution to this for Maurice’s family.
