I find the disappearance of William Astaire Roberts especially puzzling because of the people he was with on that fishing trip. Has anyone looked into the employer and the two other men who were with him in the silver van? It seems like they would hold crucial information, given they were the last to see him. Were there any statements made by these individuals, and did their accounts align? It's odd how little information has come out about the other men over all these years. I wonder if they were fully investigated or if they have refused to talk more about that day. It's also curious that no one else seems to have spotted a van pulling a boat on that specific day. Could it be that the fishing trip was just a cover for something else? Hoping new leads come to light soon.

I am a friend of the family and also the daughter of the Coast Guard commander that led the ocean search. Your questions are valid as no boat or debris was ever found after an extended 3 week search. The family is questioning the same thing as we can not find any information on the others as being missing. All were employees of Tropicana freight. Which there are rumors of what freight was being hauled. Family is asking for copies of interviews and details. Nothing adds up here. There is a name of Jeremy Brandon or Brandon that was also supposed to be on that fishing trip. But he is not coming up as missing. Family knows nothing about a silver van. Williams truck and boat trailer was still at the ramp.

Has anyone else ever wondered about the name of the boat in William Astaire Roberts's case? *Juno Isles* sounds like an interesting choice. I know this is a bit of a tangent, but I’ve been diving into local history and found out there's a nearby neighborhood with the same name. Do you think there's any connection to where they were planning to fish that day? It's just so puzzling that they left no trace after heading out. I've read newspaper archives, but the boat itself doesn't seem to have any history tied to anything suspicious. Anyone else have insights or theories on why that boat name might be significant or how it could relate to their intended destination?

Juno Isles is a well known area close to the beach. That day was extremely cold and not a day for fishing. His boat trailer and truck was still at the ramp. I am not aware if his boat was named that I will ask. The others that were supposed to be with him are oddly not missing that we know of. The coast guard extended the search for 3 weeks no sign of anything. The guys all worked at Tropicana freight which hauled goods by sea….. interesting. The family wants the case reopened as nothing ads up here. Asking for copies of who was interviewed and what was said.

Has anyone else looked into the backgrounds of the other men who went on the fishing trip with William Astaire Roberts? I'm curious about any history they might have had, especially considering how this case still has no resolution. It seems odd that with three other people involved, no new details have come out over the years. If anyone has info about their backgrounds or if they were interviewed thoroughly by the police, it would be interesting to know.도 Police reports from that time aren't always as detailed by today's standards, but I'm wondering if they might hold some overlooked clues about these individuals.

You are correct in that only William is coming up as missing. The coast guard extended their search for 3 weeks coming up with nothing. Williams truck and trailer were still at the ramp but that could have been staged. They all worked at Tropicana freight which hauled by sea….interesting. Family wants answers and wants case reopened and copies of those interviews.
