I was reading about Martha Jimmy's case and it really got me thinking about the larger picture. It's so devastating to hear how her death was tied to a string of unsolved cases in Anchorage during that time. Each victim, including Martha, had dreams, families, and futures that were stolen from them. It's incredibly concerning to think about the possibility of a serial offender who managed to elude justice for so long. I've seen discussions here and there where people question whether these cases received the resources and attention they deserved back then. If even one more piece of evidence or witness had come forward, maybe these families could have had closure much sooner. Sending my thoughts to Martha’s loved ones, and hoping for a breakthrough in all these unsolved cases soon. Every person deserves justice, and I can’t imagine the pain of waiting all these years without answers.
