Hey everyone, Something that's been really on my mind regarding this terrible act is the choice of place for the custody exchange. Lake Sherwood Apartments sounds so ordinary, but imagine how terrifying it is to think that something so violent can happen during what should be a peaceful swap. I keep thinking about that 8-month-old boy left in the backseat. Thank goodness he's safe, but what a horrific thing for such a young child to be at the center of. I can't even start to understand what Tanishia and Tanga’s family are going through right now. Having to process the loss of two incredible women, all while making sure those little ones feel secure and loved in the aftermath is just... I don’t have words. I hope they know they're not alone in feeling the shock and grief. If anyone here has thoughts about whether safer custody exchange programs might have helped, I’d be really interested in hearing them. Holding the family in my thoughts.
