Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating and sad that despite all the potential warning signs, these young men ended up making such devastating choices? It's heartbreaking for Gary Jackson's family and his young daughter who now has to deal with such a painful loss. But it's also tragic to hear about boys like Daniel and Holden, who clearly went down a dark path after dealing with their own personal tragedies. De Guardia mentioned his father's death from COVID-19 as a turning point, and it's a reminder of how external pressures can significantly impact life choices in young adulthood. I hope there’s some counseling support for them, not just punishment, because young lives shouldn't be thrown away without a chance for redemption. Sending love and strength to all affected. ?
