Hey everyone, I'm sure many of us have been following the tragic case of Terri McKenzie and Vernaldo Donner, and I recently came across a heart-wrenching detail regarding Terri's aspirations. It's just so deeply sad to think about how Terri was right on the cusp of building a new chapter in her life. I've learned that she had just started working as a certified nursing assistant and had dreams to advance even further by becoming a registered nurse. Think about it: someone taking care of others, working hard to make a difference in people’s lives, and then this senseless act just...takes it all away. Her family's pain must be beyond words, knowing how close Terri was to achieving her dreams. I can’t even begin to imagine what they are going through. It’s heartening, though, to see some justice starting to be served with the recent arrests. Hoping the legal process brings some peace to her family. But I think this case really shines a light on the fragile nature of life and how it can change in just a moment. Let’s keep Terri's and Vernaldo’s loved ones in our thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
