Does anyone know if there were any local reports of dangerous conditions at Waukegan Pier around the time Anne Wyatt vanished? I've been digging through old newspaper archives, but there's not much to go on. I'm wondering if there's a chance the weather or something at the pier could have played a role in her disappearance. It's just so strange how she vanished without a trace, especially with a cast on her arm. It seems like someone may have seen something. If anyone has come across any local stories or has family from around that area, any details could be valuable.

Hey everyone, I'm pretty intrigued by Anne Wyatt's case, especially given that it was so dormant for years before getting a fresh look by being added to NamUs. I was reading through some old local news archives and kept wondering about the cast on her left arm. It seems significant, right? I mean, wearing a cast would definitely make it harder for her to move around, especially near water or on those slippery docks at the pier. Was she using crutches then? And did it affect her balance? Could she have tripped and fallen accidentally? I'm curious if the cast had anything to do with when she went missing, like whether it made her a bit more vulnerable or whether it could give us a clue about why she was at the pier in the first place. Does anyone know how common it was for people to be at the pier during that time of year? I wasn't around then, so I'd love to hear any thoughts or insights from locals who might remember the area from that time.

I was combing through some old records and stumbled upon Anne Wyatt's case again. It's really intriguing how her disappearance is finally getting a spotlight thanks to being added to NamUs. One thing that's been nagging at me: has anyone considered the significance of her wearing a cast? I mean, it must have limited her mobility somewhat, right? If there was an accident, could it be that her arm injury played a part? Or maybe it made her more vulnerable to foul play? Just brainstorming here, but it seems like an important detail that maybe could shine some light if it's looked into further. Thoughts?
