Hi everyone, I've been following Destiny Gladys Melgar’s case closely, and one thing that stands out to me is the witness's bravery. Imagine how terrifying it must have been to see someone hold a gun and then act so violently. It's understandable why they backed away, but the fact that they still came forward later to help identify Michael Williams is nothing short of courageous. Their willingness to get involved in such a dangerous situation cannot be commended enough, but it also just highlights how tragic the whole thing is—that a young life was ended so suddenly and senselessly. I hope Destiny’s family finds some comfort knowing that there are people who want justice for her. Anyone else find this part of the story really impactful? Thoughts are with Destiny’s loved ones.
