I've been following the case of Maurice Cardell Sutton's tragic passing and can't stop thinking about the impact on his family and friends. Being found near a daycare makes it all the more jarring to me. It's a place you associate with innocence and safety, and it’s unsettling that such violence could occur so close by. I hope the community comes together to support his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. I've been following the Maurice Cardell Sutton case closely, and one thing that's been bothering me is the location where his body was found. It's such a busy area, especially with a daycare and an elementary school nearby. I'm wondering if anyone has heard if the police have checked surveillance cameras in the area? A lot of places have them installed nowadays. Even a small detail captured on video might help piece together what happened that night.

Has anyone else been following the Maurice Cardell Sutton case? It's been weighing heavily on my mind lately. I can't believe it's been over seven years, and there still seems to be very little progress. I was reading about how Maurice was found near a daycare parking lot, and I just can't get over the tragedy of it all. That's a place you'd typically associate with safety and innocence, and yet something so violent happened right there.
It's baffling to me how there are no suspects yet. Jacksonville isn't a tiny town, so somebody must have seen or heard something. I feel deeply for Maurice's family and friends who have to live with this unresolved loss. It must be incredibly difficult not knowing who did this or why. Does anyone have any updates or thoughts on who might have motive? I wish there was more I could do to help bring justice for Maurice.
