I've been following the tragic case of Lewis Butler's murder in Havana, Florida, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I've been thinking a lot about community solidarity in the face of such violence. It's so tough to see a place impacted repeatedly by gun violence, and I wonder how these incidents affect neighborhood cohesion. From what I've read, there are tributes and memorials for Lewis, which is a true testament to the love and care the community holds for him. But how do we, as a community, move forward and prevent further violence? Are there any initiatives in place to support those affected, or efforts to curb the violence? It's important we support each other and push for change, so tragedies like Lewis's death don't keep happening. Sending my thoughts and strength to everyone touched by this loss.
