I've been thinking a lot about how the situation with the Clarks unfolded, and something that's been on my mind is the initial involvement of the police. It's incredibly difficult to judge from an outsider's perspective, but it seems so frustrating that despite having been on the scene just hours earlier, tragedy couldn’t be prevented. Why was Jeffrey Clark’s initial reluctance to answer the door not seen as a red flag, especially considering there had been a dispute? Could there have been any additional protocols to ensure Courtney's safety upon her return home? I can't imagine the overwhelming grief and shock that their friends and family must be going through, losing both loved ones in such a sudden and violent manner. It's such a sad reminder of how crucial it is for intervention strategies in domestic disputes to be thorough and community support systems robust. Does anyone have thoughts on how incidents like this might be approached differently by authorities in the future, to possibly prevent such devastating outcomes?
