Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging more into the murder of Deborah Ruth Lawson at the Eagle’s Nest Hotel, and I can’t stop thinking about the hotel's staff that day. Imagine showing up for your shift, expecting a normal day at work, and then this tragedy unfolds right in front of you. I was wondering, did any of the staff become witnesses or were they able to provide any crucial information about the people coming and going from the rooms around the time of the shooting? These small details can sometimes be important in cases like this. My heart goes out to them and, of course, to Deborah’s family and friends who had to deal with such an awful loss. If anyone has insights or knows about any staff interviews, please share. This case deserves closure.
I've been thinking a lot about the last hours of Deborah Lawson's life at the Eagle's Nest Hotel. It's hard to imagine how alone and frightened she must have felt in that moment. I've read that it can be difficult for investigators to piece together events in these motel settings due to the transient nature of the guests and lack of surveillance. Does anyone know if there's been any discussion about whether there were other guests staying nearby who might have heard something? It seems like any small detail could be crucial in understanding what led to this tragic outcome. My heart goes out to her family; I can't even fathom the pain they're going through.
