I still can't wrap my head around the loss of little JD — such a senseless act of violence that took away his bright future. What grips me now is the claim by Kavarius Green's attorney that this was self-defense. How do you even remotely justify that when a child's life is involved? It makes me wonder about the dynamics between all the parties involved. What was so severe in that conversation or altercation to bring out guns? Was there something deeper between the adults that wasn’t just a one-time road rage incident? It’s chilling to think that a disagreement of any kind could escalate to this level. Also, I'm perplexed by the role of Demarius Wilson. He's got to be a key piece of this horrifying puzzle. The fact that he hasn't turned himself in yet has me thinking there’s more to his role — did he set this up, or was he part of a plan that backfired? It all adds another layer to JD’s family's call for justice. My thoughts are with them, hoping they find the peace they deserve as more details (hopefully) come into light.
