I can’t stop thinking about the little girl who called 911. Her bravery at such a young age is truly remarkable, and it breaks my heart to know she witnessed something so horrific involving her own family. It's hard to imagine the emotional and psychological impact this will have on her as she grows up. Thank goodness she's receiving support, but I really hope they find a family member who can provide her with a stable and loving home. Having grown up in a tight-knit family myself, I can understand the immense void she's likely feeling. Losing your closest loved ones in such a violent manner is unfathomable. It’s incredible how the community in Lawtey has rallied around her, but it seems like no amount of support could ever fully heal those wounds. If anyone knows of ways to send encouraging words or support to her and the family, please share. She deserves to know she's not alone in this.

Wow, the tragic incident in Lawtey has just been weighing so heavily on my mind lately. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and loss faced by the families of Quinqune “Cat” Robinson, Danesha Sims, and Winshay Roddey. My heart especially goes out to the 11-year-old girl who lived through such a traumatic and horrifying event. It's been really thoughtful to see how the community has come together to support her, trying to cushion what must be an unimaginable sense of loss. The resilience she must need right now is beyond words. I keep thinking about how her life has been changed forever by witnessing something so horrific but also showing such bravery in the face of danger by calling for help. It’s crucial for us in the true crime community to remember the people impacted by these events, not just focus on the investigation details or the perpetrator. This little girl and her healing process should be at the forefront of our thoughts. Hoping they find a loving and supportive home for her soon. It’s going to be a long road, but I have faith that with the right support, she can find some peace eventually. ?

I can’t stop thinking about the incredible bravery of the 11-year-old girl who called 911 in the midst of that terrifying night in Lawtey. Not only did she witness the unimaginable, but she also had the presence of mind to seek help despite being injured herself. It breaks my heart to think of the trauma she endured and the immense bravery she showed by providing crucial testimony against Johnnie Bernard Brown. How does a child so young process something like this? I’m glad she’s getting support from social workers and the community, but it just doesn't feel like enough. It's critical for her ongoing recovery that she finds a safe and loving family environment. I truly hope the right person steps forward to give her the stability and love she desperately needs right now. I can only imagine the heavy burden she might feel, and I hope those around her can help lift it, bit by bit. Sending thoughts to the families affected and everyone in the Lawtey community as they rally around this young girl. If anyone has advice on supporting children through trauma, especially in such violent circumstances, your insights would be greatly appreciated here.
