Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about Carl "Doyle" Whited's case. It's been so quiet since the shooting happened back in April, and I can't imagine how his family must be feeling with so many questions left unanswered. I know North Fort Myers has unfortunately seen its share of violence, but each life lost leaves such a hole in the community. It breaks my heart that Carl's name is now part of that list. I came across the National Gun Violence Memorial's page for him, and the tribute candles really hit home. It was touching to see how many people care and want to remember him. Although it doesn't replace justice or bring him back, it feels like a small comfort for those who miss him. If anyone has info or theories, every bit might help his loved ones find some peace or push the case forward. Keeping Carl's family in my thoughts and hoping for answers soon.
