I stumbled upon this case and my heart goes out to Kevon Christmas' family and friends. Losing someone so young and full of potential is an incredible tragedy. I really can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. It's concerning to see how gun violence escalates from disputes that could possibly be resolved without such dire consequences. What I find especially disturbing about this case is the bigger picture of how these individuals' lives are forever changed over one night of violence. It truly makes me wonder how many warning signs were there beforehand? Were there previous encounters or history that could have pointed to this eventual outcome? If anyone has more insight into this, or if there’s a community effort to address these underlying issues, I'd be interested to know. To those impacted, please stay strong. I'm hoping that justice will prevail, and that healing, though difficult, will begin.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic events surrounding the shooting on S. Howard Ave, and I can’t help but think about the implications this has on the safety of those nights out in the SOHO area. It’s horrifying to think that someone like Kevon Christmas, who was just starting his adult life, no longer has the chance to create his future because of such senseless violence. It’s really eye-opening; there were officers right there because they were doing crowd control. It's scary to think about what could have happened if they weren't there. I'm thankful there weren't more casualties, but it still makes me wonder about the safety measures in place on those busy nights. How do venues and local businesses ensure people stay safe? Are there enough resources given to law enforcement for patrols in these high traffic areas? My thoughts are with the families and friends of Kevon and Kenneth, and I hope they get the justice they deserve. If anyone has info, I really urge you to reach out because even small details might help solve this case. Stay safe out there, everyone.
