Hey everyone, I've been following this case for a while now and something has been on my mind regarding the abandoned vehicle found a month after Rivers and Walking Badger disappeared. Does anyone know if any thorough searches were conducted in the areas surrounding where the burnt Pontiac was discovered? It seems like such a critical piece of evidence, especially considering it's where the trail seemingly goes cold. I'm curious if local law enforcement or volunteers scoured that area for any additional clues or belongings. With so much time having passed, it's hard to know what was done initially, but understanding the efforts made back then might give us some insight into what, if anything, was overlooked. Thoughts?
I've been following the case of Rivers and Walking Badger for a while, and something has always intrigued me about the abandoned and burned Pontiac. I find it odd that the car was found burned in the same Gila River area where they were last seen. It almost feels like someone wanted to destroy any evidence linking them to whatever happened. I wonder if the car was burned shortly after their disappearance or much later. Does anyone know if there were any signs of a struggle or additional evidence inside the car before it was torched? It's details like these that always make me question if the car was just a diversion tactic or if it could've held crucial secrets. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect of the case?
I’ve been following Rivers' case and started diving into Walking Badger’s past activism, especially his efforts with crop-dusting. Does anyone else think there could be a connection between his advocacy and their disappearance? I've read a few anecdotes suggesting there was some tension with local farmers due to his push against crop-dusting. Could it be that both men stumbled upon something they weren’t supposed to or was there someone who didn’t like Walking Badger’s influence? Just wondering if this angle has been considered enough—it might lead somewhere, especially since the car was found burned and their plan to meet back home wasn’t anything suspicious. Thoughts?
