I’ve been following this case since the news broke, and I just can't stop thinking about those innocent kids, Karma and Phillip III. It’s so unsettling to think about how they got caught up in something so unspeakable. Even if we don't have all the details yet about how their lives were brutally cut short, it’s a grim reminder that children are often the silent victims in these tragic situations. I can't imagine what their grandparents, or any relatives, must be going through right now waiting for confirmation and dealing with all the 'what-ifs.' Also, knowing that there's a fundraiser gives the community a way to show support. It's one small way to help, even when words feel so inadequate. I hope justice is swift and that the truth about what really happened comes out soon. With so many inconsistencies in Atwood's story, I have no doubt we’re in for more revelations. My heart goes out to Rain and Phillip's family… they deserve every bit of closure they can get.

Did anyone else catch the detail about Atwood mentioning he suspected Rain and Phillip might have killed their own children? I’m finding it extremely difficult to believe. For a parent to harm their kids goes against every instinct. There's no evidence he provided to support such a dreadful claim either. It feels like a poor attempt to divert blame. My heart truly goes out to Rain and Phillip's families, not only for their tragic loss but also for having to hear such unfounded accusations. It’s beyond devastating, and I hope the truth comes out during the trial. Could all this just be another layer of Atwood trying to twist the narrative for his benefit? Grief is complicated enough without these additional smears on the victims’ characters. Sending love and strength to those who knew and cherished this family.
