Has anyone else looked into George Bereska's past legal issues? I find it really disturbing that he had a prior record of second-degree sexual assault, especially involving a minor. It makes me wonder how much we really know about people’s histories, even when they seem to live ordinary lives. Renwick being involved in the community and active at the American Legion paints a stark contrast to George's past. I can’t help but feel heartache for those who knew Benjamin, considering the trust that must have been shattered. I’ve read their friends thought of the couple as friendly and polite, which adds another layer to this tragic event. How could someone who's been involved in something like that before even reach a point where another horrific act occurs? It’s unsettling. It would be interesting to hear more about what the community thinks about this prior charge now that this has happened. Stay strong, everyone connected to this heartbreaking case.
