I came across some details about PJ Hyman Jr.'s case that I haven't seen discussed much here yet. It seems like all focus has been on what happened outside, but I'm curious about the timeline and location specifics within the mall itself. Has anyone thought about where exactly inside things might've started?
Considering PJ and his friends were at the food court, I'm wondering if the fight that led to the tragedy had any signs inside before moving outside near Red Robin. Were there any witnesses from inside who noticed tension or arguments that could have spilled over? Often in crowded public spaces, people capture moments on their phones. Could there be video evidence from the food court that might have preceded the events outside?
It's clear PJ was an accomplished young man with so much ahead of him, and like many, I'm deeply troubled by the lack of detail about what led to such a senseless ending. I hope the investigation pieces together every small detail that might give Bianca Cooper and the rest of PJ's loved ones the answers they deserve. My heart goes out to them; no parent should ever have to receive a call like that. Stay strong, Bianca—our community is standing with you.
Has anyone else been following the PJ Hyman Jr. case in Tampa? I just read about the vigil held at Riverwalk Park, and it really seems like the community is rallying around his family during this unimaginable time. It's so moving to see people come together amidst such a tragic event. I can't even begin to imagine what PJ’s mom, Bianca, must be going through. Losing a child is every parent's worst nightmare.
I’m curious if anyone knows more about what the community is doing to support the family long-term. The GoFundMe is a great start for immediate needs, but I wonder how else PJ's friends and community clubs might be keeping his memory alive. Memorials or scholarships in his name, perhaps? Something positive out of such an awful incident. If anyone is local to Tampa and has insights, I'd love to hear more. This case just weighs so heavily... I feel for his family and friends every day.
