Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the Stella Zayats case from back in 1975, and I noticed something intriguing. I read that Stella, like many others, often carried a small amount of cash, about $25, which would’ve been a fair bit back then. It makes me wonder if someone saw her as an easy target for a robbery. Toronto winters are harsh, and if she was bundled up, she could've been seen as vulnerable or distracted. Has anyone come across similar cases from that era where a robbery led to a disappearance? I’m curious if there were commonalities or if anyone else went missing under similar circumstances. It seems odd that there's such a lack of detail about sightings or leads in her case.
