Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Noel Yassinsky case from Kitimat and I came across something that’s been bugging me. Remember how Noel's car was found near Purden Campground, quite a ways from his home in Kitimat? What really has me puzzled is why there? It's not like it's on the way to any other major destinations from Kitimat or somewhere you'd just happen upon. Does anybody have any local knowledge about this spot? I’m curious if there was something specific that might have drawn him there or if it's known as a spot where people might go to be alone or camp out? I know the area near Prince George has its share of wilderness, but the choice of this particular location for abandoning the car just seems so deliberate to me. Maybe locals or those familiar with BC's landscape can provide some insights or theories? Any little detail could mean something, and I can’t shake the feeling that there’s a piece missing related to why the car was left there of all places. Thoughts?
