Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last checked in on Gordon Westover's case. Something that's been lingering in my mind is the fact that Gordon had a mild mental disability and a pattern of impersonating various professionals. I can’t help but wonder if this might've made him more vulnerable to exploitation or put him in situations with people who might not have had his best interests at heart. Given he was last seen leaving a beer garden, it's possible he may have encountered someone who took advantage of him, especially if he was talking about enlisting in the military that night. It’d be interesting to know if there were any other reports of impersonation or unusual behavior leading up to his disappearance. Also, if he often talked about joining the military, did he try going to a local recruitment office around that time? Maybe there was some interaction with military personnel or someone posing as such. There might be someone out there who remembers seeing or talking to him but didn’t think much of it back then. Any thoughts on whether the police ever looked into similar impersonation cases around that time?
