It's been 19 years since Marten Wenzel vanished, and something that's always puzzled me is how suddenly and completely he stopped communicating. Those who knew him say he was the kind of person who would always find a way to check in, even if things were tough. It makes me wonder what could have been significant enough to halt that habit cold. Has anyone considered the possibility of a major life change around that time? Not just in terms of danger or foul play, but maybe something like a new job, a new environment, or even moving to a different place that he planned to keep as a secret for some reason. I know these are just speculations, but it seems odd to me that a person who values connection would cut all ties without explanation. Hopefully, someone out there remembers something, anything, that might point investigators in the right direction. Missing person cases like these can hinge on details that seemed inconsequential back then. If you were in Edmonton back in 2004, maybe you saw or heard something, even accidentally. Every small detail counts.
