Has anyone else been thinking about the role that senior facilities play in resident disputes? This tragic incident between Mr. Faniel and Mr. Dejesus is just so devastating. It makes me wonder if these places have adequate support or conflict resolution strategies in place for residents. People often assume that seniors in such facilities have peaceful lives, but the reality can be quite different. Shouldn’t there be more checks or interventions to prevent minor disagreements from escalating this far? My heart goes out to Mr. Faniel’s family during this incredibly difficult time. No one should have to endure this kind of loss.
