I’ve been following the case of Romain Sterling, and I can’t stop thinking about how his coach, Jamar T. Brown, had to tell the younger kids about what happened. It must have been such a tough conversation. I mean, how do you even begin to explain something like this to kids who probably looked up to Romain not just as a teammate, but as a role model? Brown's got such a big heart to be there for these students while also grieving himself. It just goes to show how much impact Romain had on those around him. I really hope there’s more focus on supporting young folks in the community so they can feel safer. No one should lose their life like this, especially someone with so much ahead of them. Sending love to Romain's family and friends during this impossible time.
