I'm troubled by the thought of Fred Ettleman's tragic shooting—such a senseless act that took away a true pillar of the community. What strikes me most is how someone who dedicated his life to service, both in the military and in the civilian world, met such a violent end. He seemed like the kind of person who anybody would be lucky to have in their corner—a decorated veteran with a long-standing career and a strong commitment to his community. The fact that he served as a Lieutenant Colonel and still invested so much in local activities, like his involvement with the VFW and his church, shows his remarkable character.
It's hard not to feel for his family during this unimaginable time. Having lived a life of such purpose and community involvement, he surely touched many lives. I hope those who knew him can find some comfort in the shared memories and the legacy he leaves behind. Meanwhile, this black Ford Mustang convertible might be the key to unraveling the mystery. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail could make a difference. Let's keep the pressure on to bring justice for Fred and his loved ones.
Hey all, something that's been on my mind about Fred Andrew Ettleman's case is the community's involvement, or rather, the potential lack of it. It seems like he was such a pillar in Rye and Pueblo — between his military service, the insurance business, and his work at the church and VFW. With everything he did for the community, you'd think people would be more proactive in coming forward with information about the black Ford Mustang convertible the police are looking for. Does anyone else feel this way?
With all the people Fred helped over the years, it would be great to see that support come full circle and aid the police in their investigation. It's heartbreaking to think something like this could happen to someone so respected and loved. Here's hoping someone knows something and steps up to honor his legacy. ?️
