I came across Edward Eric Tandrup's case while doing some research, and one question that keeps bugging me is about his tattoos. I know he had a flower tattoo on his left forearm and a heart on his right upper arm. It's 1983 we’re talking about, so tattoos might not have been as common back then as they are now. Could these have been significant in some way? Maybe they were tied to someone or something important in his life? If he did hitchhike to Vancouver, you'd think his tattoos would have been distinctive enough for someone to remember seeing him. I wonder if anyone in the tattoo community from that time might have some insight or recollections. It just seems like a potentially overlooked angle, especially since tattoos tell a story, and maybe his could help piece together where he went or who he might have encountered. Thoughts?
