Hey everyone, I've been following Mika's case, and something that really sticks with me is the lack of prior reports of domestic violence in her relationship with John Angus Joseph MacArthur. It just makes me wonder how many similar situations exist where the signs remain hidden until it's too late. Mika's family living out of the province probably made it harder to catch these red flags, especially since she seemed to keep in touch regularly otherwise. It's a tragic reminder to stay vigilant and supportive of any loved ones who might be in a difficult situation, even if everything seems okay on the surface. Anyone else have thoughts on ways communities can better support people in potential danger, especially those who are isolated from family support networks?
