I’ve been following the case of Michael Rivas Jr. and can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must be having on his family and friends. Losing someone in such a violent manner, and in a place they call home, is unimaginably painful. Bradford Park, usually a place of community and gatherings, now holds such a chilling memory.
I hope that anyone with information, no matter how small it might seem, will come forward. Our community deserves to feel safe, and Michael's loved ones deserve answers and justice. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act, and I truly believe that by coming together, we can bring some light to this dark situation. Let’s keep Michael and his family in our thoughts, and let’s do whatever we can to help bring some peace to them.
It's so difficult to read about cases like this that hit so close to home. I grew up not far from Bradford Park, and it's incredibly unsettling to think about such violence occurring in what I always considered a peaceful neighborhood.
