It's so sad what happened to Valarie. I can't imagine the pain her family and children must be going through right now. I just stumbled upon the GoFundMe campaign that her sister Alexis set up. Putting aside all the horrible circumstances, it's at least a small way to help out the family and support the kids she left behind. For those who haven't seen it yet, it might be a good way to show solidarity. Even if you can't donate, sharing it can go a long way. It's hard not to feel helpless in situations like this, but maybe this is one way we can rally around the family and let them know they aren’t alone. Has anyone else donated or shared the fundraiser? How else can the community help?
