Has anyone else been perplexed by the lack of urgency when Rhonda Runningbird first went missing? I can't wrap my head around how her family had to learn about it through a news report. That must have been incredibly frustrating and confusing for them. I've followed a few cases where communication breakdowns like this have occurred, and it seems to really hinder the investigation in its critical early days. And then there's the fact that her own family found personal items at the scene which were dismissed by the authorities. I genuinely feel like findings from those closest to the victim should be considered more seriously—I mean, they know her best, right? What are everyone else's thoughts on how initial response impacts long-term outcomes in these cases?
