I’ve been thinking a lot about Shelley's case lately, and it really struck me when I learned about the financial issues between Shelley and her cousin, Michael Burks. It's just unsettling to think that something like money could drive someone to do such an unthinkable act. When borrowing or lending money with family, there’s usually a level of trust and understanding. I imagine Shelley must have felt blindsided by this betrayal, and it's just so tragic. My heart goes out to her family, especially her sons. I just hope justice is served, and they can find some peace in the truth coming to light. Such a senseless loss of a life. Wondering if anyone has heard any more details about Burks’ court proceedings or what’s happening next in the case?
