Hey everyone,
I've been following the Ricky Real Riopel case, and one thing that intrigues me is the gap in time between when Ricky was last seen by his family and when he was officially reported missing. We're talking about a serious gap between December 2008 and August 2010. It seems strange that someone like Ricky, who was so rooted in his community and family, wasn't reported missing sooner. What could have prevented his family from reaching out to the authorities earlier?
Did his family believe he might have wanted some privacy, or was there something more complicated going on? Hopefully, someone familiar with similar cases can shed some light or theories on why such delays happen, especially for someone who was reportedly close to his family. It's puzzling, and it makes you wonder about the challenges these families face in deciding the right time to get law enforcement involved.
Eager to hear your thoughts, especially if you've seen similar delays in other cases.
