I recently stumbled on the case of Patrick Ratto, and something that's been bugging me is the black splint he was wearing due to his broken hand. It’s pretty distinctive, right? So, wouldn't it make it easier for someone to remember seeing him? I mean, it’s not every day you come across someone with a noticeable injury like that. I'm curious if any focus has been placed on medical facilities or places that deal with orthopedics around Burnaby or Vancouver. Could it be possible that with the pain from his injury, he might have gone to seek help somewhere and just not made it back? Maybe there's someone out there who noticed a guy with those exact details coming in for some assistance but didn't realize it was Patrick. The splint is such a specific detail, seems like it could be a key to unlocking some part of this puzzle. Wondering if there’s any way to revisit medical records from that time in nearby areas. Just thinking out loud, but I'd love to hear if anyone has more insight or ideas about this angle.
