Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into the disappearance of Deqian Rang, and something I can’t shake is the timeline of events before she was reported missing. Given that she wasn't reported missing until months after April 20th, I've been wondering about what might have happened in that gap. Do we know what the official reasoning was that her friends, and not her husband, were the ones to report her missing? I know they checked with Chinese communities around Canada and the U.S. before contacting authorities, but was there any particular reason they couldn’t get in touch with her sooner? And what about her family in China – did they find anything unusual with not hearing from her, especially since she had just written to them in April? It just seems like a huge piece of the puzzle is missing there. Would love to hear if anyone’s dug into this angle more or has found anything in news archives that sheds light on this delay.
